Carson
Carson is our ‘old man’.  He isn’t old at all, but he sure acts it.  He likes to be the father figure and keeps all the other dogs in check.  He will watch while the others jump all over each other and fight for toys.  He will also watch them all fly out the doggie door while he prefers to be carried outside.  If it is rainy or cold outside he would rather not go out at all!  He likes the fact that he is the only dog that gets to sleep in the bed with us.  And, he really does not like getting up too early.   He loves to lay on the floor with all four legs sprawled out from him…shimmying across the floor on his belly while waiting for us to scoop him up and cover him with hugs.   He is a very good dog that likes to please us.
Carson is neutered and is content living his life being held and spoiled!

Roxie
Roxie must be the reason these dogs are called Yorkshire Terriers.  She is a terrier through and through.  She is very independent and likes to make sure there are no squirrels or other pesky little critters in our backyard on her watch!  She would spend most of the day outside sunning on the deck or playing in the snow if she could.  She is a “mama’s girl” and definitely likes to follow me all around when we are in the house.  She is the alpha dog of our pack and the others know it!  When they forget – she reminds them.  She enjoys her naps and will stop doing anything if she hears the word “turkey”…there better be some type of treat waiting for her if she comes running because she probably stopped doing something very important to get some!

Romeo 
Romeo is one of the cutest, most cuddly dog we have.  If you reach down to him he immediately rolls onto his back and waits for a belly rub.  His “mom” is our teenage daughter and he sleeps with her in her bed.  He is a little ‘follower’ and enjoys following Roxie and Jinx around.  When it’s time for horseplay and doggie wrestling, he can hold his own against the bigger females.  He loves being outside running around just as much as he loves being held while taking a rest.  He likes to get up early and start the day!  Sleeping in is for sissies!

Jinx
Jinx is the reason why we had to put childproof locks on our kitchen cabinets!  Let’s just say she is extremely inquisitive.   She likes to investigate everything!  She explores all day long and is very tired when it is time for bed.  She likes to see everything from the highest vantage point available and spends a good portion of the day sitting and sleeping on the back of our sofa (much like a cat).  She loves to play around with the other dogs and she is fearless.  Our neighbors love to watch her outside on our deck.  Jinx will actually get up on the railing of the deck to see and “talk” with them.  She is our biggest Yorkie and is our “gentle giant”.

Pixie
Pixie is the most recent addition to our family.  She is the smallest, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in personality and spunk.  Pixie frequently acts as the playground monitor, calling out the other dogs who may be doing something wrong by sounding a loud and firm alarm bark to ensure we come running and correct the misdeed.  Yes, even the cutest Yorkies can and will become mischievous once in a while!  Pixie likes to wake up early, and will express her disapproval loudly if we sleep later than when she thinks is an acceptable “sleep in” time! Most importantly, Pixie is very loving, and will sit in our laps for hours and shower anyone with kisses of approval and affection!
